Every part of this space is artsy and well-appointed and simply fun to relax in. The neighborhood is great for exploration and within walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and sites in Catania. Ilaria and Alexandro are really kind and super helpful. We arranged our transport from and to the airport with them, and when I asked, we could also get a great offer for an Etna excursion. Ilaria prepared an amazing itinerary and was super patient and flexible with everything. She took us for breakfast in a lovely place called Nicolosi, and then on a cool serpentine road up the volcano. We spent some time up there walking around an old crater looking at the stunning view, did some gift shopping, then headed back to Catania. We went on a different route to see more areas. It was a great experience. The appartement is very nicely decorated - we even asked Ilaria whether they had an interior designer...it really looks like on the pictures. Appreciated Ilaria's restaurant suggestions. Street was surprisingly quiet at night, well away from busy traffic on the nearby main road, so the undisturbed sleep while jetlagged was appreciated. Felt safe exploring area. Entrance is off a lovely peaceful raised terrace adding to sense of safety. As expected from the photos, the minute you enter the interior design doesn't disappoint - wonderfully designed and detailed. One minor negative for some people might be the unique Dutch-style ladder/staircase to the loft space, I enjoyed it, but it might not suit everyone, especially Travellers with mobility issues. Otherwise, a delightful, uplifting, fun place to stay with a wonderful friendly Host that makes for a great base while exploring Catania.Verified We loved this little apartment! It is modern, clean and stylish, with thoughtful touches and everything you might need. The location is also excellent, a short walk from the main square and sights. Ilaria and Alessandro were also very responsive and accommodating of our requests - having an airport pick up in particular made things so convenient. It also helped having water, tea and a few breakfast items upon arrival too - they even left some gluten free things after I mentioned we wouldn’t be able to eat them, which was so thoughtful! Die Wohnung war wie abgebildet und hatte alles, was man braucht, z.B. Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen. Schampoo, Duschgel und Conditioner. Man hatte auch kleine Snacks und Wasser zur Erfrischung vorgefunden. Die Einrichtung war mit Liebe zu Detail ausgestattet. Und hat an nichts gefehlt.
