THE AUTHOR SAYS: “One of the busiest streets of Catania is Via VI Aprile, known by all of Catania as u Passiaturi and identified with the pedestrian path located near the Central Station and separated from the sea by the railway line. Translatable literally in Italian as “the Walk”, anciently the Passiatore was the place where the people of Catania went to take a walk and to meet other people, with whom to exchange some gossip or spend time”.
HOW IT’S MADE: this artwork is glass free, printed with UV printing, panelled on a rigid support and then framed with a black wood frame. The artwork measures 58,5 x 38,5 cm. Last but not least, this unique handcrafted piece is signed by the artist on the back and comes with its certificate of authenticity.
